THreads: a story and poems for grief and growth

Written as part of a 21-day poetry challenge in the Summer of 2022 - seven years after Braeden’s mom passed away from a glioblastoma (a rare malignant brain tumour). Threads is a practice in taking time and patience to make meaning out of seemingly senseless things. So Braeden took his time. Thank you for taking your time to read it.
